Since 2006 MZ Investment Services Limited has been appointed as Sponsor and Representative in Malta for Brooks Macdonald International Investment Funds Limited (formerly Lloyds Investment Funds Limited, Lloyds Gilt Fund Limited and Lloyds Money Fund Limited) and Brooks Macdonald International Multi Strategy Fund Limited. We pride ourselves on the level of personal and professional service given to each client and in this regard we enjoy a good reputation and are well respected in the financial services industry.
M.Z. Investment Services Limited (the “Company”) was incorporated in January 1999 with the aim of providing financial and investment advice to institutional and private investors. M.Z. Investment Services Limited is licensed to conduct investment services business under the Investment Services Act (Cap. 370 of the laws of Malta) by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The Company has a Category 2 Investment Services Licence authorising it to provide investment services namely investment advice, stockbroking, portfolio management, nominee services and placement of instruments without a firm commitment basis in relation to transferable securities, money market instruments and units in collective investment schemes to retail and professional clients and eligible counterparties. M.Z. Investment Services Limited is a member of the Malta Stock Exchange and enrolled tied insurance intermediary under the Insurance Distribution Act (Cap. 487 laws of Malta) for MAPFRE MSV Life plc. The Company’s registered and business office is at 63, MZ House, St Rita Street, Rabat RBT1523.
MZ Investment Services is an enrolled Tied Insurance Intermediary under the Insurance Distribution Act, Cap 487 of the Laws of Malta for MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c. (MMSV). MMSV (C-15722) is authorised under the Insurance Business Act, Cap 403 of the Laws of Malta. Both entities are regulated by Malta Financial Services Authority.
The services offered include advice on a selection of International Funds; high quality investment advice on individual investments; advice on Eurobonds, Equities and Foreign Government Securities, advice on Malta Government Stocks and other Fixed Interest Stocks and a range of Local Collective Investment Schemes

Maltese, the national language, is of Semitic origin written in Latin script that over the centuries has incorporated many words derived from English, Italian and French. For official purposes, both Maltese and English are recognized and given equal status and use in Government. Similarly, most business correspondence is in English. Other languages, particularly Italian and French, are also spoken by the population. Malta has always been a welcome place in Europe for business. It is recognized internationally as a safe and secure place to do business, with high economic, legal and political stability, and low risk. It boasts a highly-qualified and flexible workforce and relatively low labour costs. The legal structure in Malta is based on the civil-law pattern of continental Europe, but most administrative and fiscal legislation is based on British laws.

Malta’s coastline is picturesque with many harbours, bays, creeks, sandy beaches and rocky covers. The islands are characterized by a series of low hills with terraced fields on the slopes.
